- Milan Shah graduated in Commerce from the Narsee Monjee College in 1983.
- He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986.
- He was employed with an international firm of accountants for around three years after qualifying as Chartered Accountant
- He was also employed with corporates for four years where he was responsible for setting up of accounting systems, designing internal controls and corporate taxation.
- He has done extensive work over last thirty plus years in different professional areas of work including Statutory Audits, Systems and Process Audits, Consulting, Advisory services, Direct and Indirect tax, Corporate laws, Due Diligence reviews etc..
